Product Description
The Adrian Helmet was introduced to French troops in 1915. At the beginning of the Great War, the standard headgear for French soldiers was the Kepi, a soft hat that offered little protection against shrapnel. Soliders began to wear steel caps under their Kepis as rudementary protection and in 1915, a new helmet was introduced. This was the M15, a light steel helmet whose creation  was credited to Intendant-General August-Louis Adrian. The M15 was replaced by the M26 in 1926: this helmet was made of stronger materials but largely identical in appearance.

The Adrian helmet was popular throughout the interwar period, and in addition to the French army, it was used by many countries including Belgium, Italy, the USA and USSR, Mexico and Japan. It remains part of many dress uniforms and was also used by, or served as the inspiration for, the helmets of many Fire Services.

This model represents a caucasian male wearing an Adrian Helmet. 1 out of every 5 heads also wears a face-mask based on the visor designed by Major Polack of the French Army.

Please select:
Small for 10 heads
medium for 20 heads
large for 50 heads

These heads are scaled to fit 28mm heroic models, and are compatible with Golem Games' torsos and many other popular model ranges.
