1914 Brushless motor plate SCX24

This is a motor plate designed to fit a 1914 outrunner brushless motor on a scx24. This motor has a kv rating of 1100kv which is much slower than the usual HH380 Revolver 2600kv most use at this scale. I chose to provide this motor plate because of the lack of availability of the Revolver right now and its ridiculous prices on online stores. The motor I suggest cost between $10-15 which makes it a more affortable option while still providing what could possibly be a better crawling experience. The slower speed of the motor will provide for slower crawl. Due to it not being a sensored motor a good quality esc is required to get all the benefits from it. An average esc will show small hesitations at motor startup if not enough trottle is given. I suggest going with a Castle micro esc. Here are the links from the ebay stores I was able to get the motors and pinion from. The motor has a 3mm shaft which is why you will need a 12t pinion instead of a smaller one. You can grind down shaft to accept smaller count pinion but that requires skill that some may not posses yet so I recoment not to do so unless confortable with the process. The pinion provided in the link is of mod 0.5 pitch made to match the Hot Racing mod 0.5 spur designed for the scx24. This pitch provides much stronger teeth than stock that will help it survive the extra torque provided by this motor.
