PARTHENON

This model was taken form drawings in an book at Yale University on an archeological work by a German archeologist in the early 1920's. It includes the correct entasas in the columns and the correct number of metopes and triglyphs in the frieze as well as the decorative fixtures on the roof although those have been simplified. It does not have the decorative sculpture in the metopes and the pediment sculpture has been simplified but it does include the coffers under the roof and the doors to the interior.
