Product Description
The Milwaukee Railroad had telegraph lines that paralleled the track in Montana, to either communicate with the next station or send signals to the light blocks or switches as needed. They were set at a minimum of 18’ from center line and 50’ to 100’ apart depending on the terrane. The telegraph lines continue to follow the tracks even when the tracks went through a tunnel. The telegraph line simply made it's way around the hill.
There are 24 telegraph poles in each package. Painting is not included. I recommend you wash the parts with a light mix of dish detergent, rinse, and let dry before painting. I hope you enjoy the model.
