M47 driver compartment interior 1:35

This kit is a complete interior for the driver's compartment of the M47 tank, in 1:35 scale.  It needs assembly, and offers all the major components - some smaller cables, rods, and bolts are left off due to the limits of 3D printing, but they cannot be seen easily through the hatches anyway.  This is designed to be a drop-fit into the venerable Italeri kit, but should be easy enough to adapt to the new Takom kits too.  (Note that later M47s were often "re-arranged" inside as they were updated, so items like the fixed fire extinguisher bottles might get moved.  One walkaround of a preserved vehicle even shows the driver moved to the right-hand seat, with extra ammo storage tubes taking his place on the left.)  A set of interior parts for the turret basket will be available shortly too.

This set does not include the half-height partition wall that separates the driver compartment from the space under the turret basket - this can be made easily (and cheaply) from plastic sheet and strips.

Note the default material is FXD, but you could get away with using cheaper FUD given that it can only be seen through the hatches!
