Product Description
The prototipe for the Excelsior class had the first Transwarp technology the United Federation of Planets developed. Also known as 'The Great Experiment', the USS Excelsior was commissioned in 2285 under Captain Styles. The experimental technology however proved to be a failure, and the ship converted back to old Warp systems.
There are a few differences between the Transwarp prototype and the rest of the class, namely the impulse deck, bridge, and the shuttlebay.
