I have designed it with a unique flexible split design, that grips the battery during use, but it can be pealed apart to allow the battery to be removed with ease, unlike other designs. It's printed by shapeways in a flexible rubber like filament. This adapter has many applications from Nurf guns to metal detectors like the SDC2300. Less weight and more battery life, who can complain with that! Please note that this in for one adapter to convert from two C batteries, so if you devices uses 4 batteries, you'll need to purchase two adapters I also have a 20700 adapter available in my store.
To complete the adapter you will also need to source a 5mmx30mm Nickel Plated Binding Screw Post for Scrapbook Photo Albums, this provides the connection from the shorter battery to the C battery terminal.
