Raspberry Pi Camera Mounting Bracket

This bracket is designed to attach to the Raspberry Pi Camera so that the camera can be mounted to a wall (or any surface) with 360 degree pan and tilt. Unlike other brackets this model contains cylindrical offsets that provide sufficient clearance for all of the components on the Raspberry Pi Camera. It's designed and tested to work with the official Raspberry Pi Camera and also various clones (for example from SainSmart).

For a complete Raspberry Pi Camera mounting solution that permits mounting the camera in any position and direction (360 degree pan and tilt) you will need the following items:

• Raspberry Pi Camera Mounting Bracket (this item)
• Rotating Bracket Adapter
• wall mount (such as my Wall Bracket and Mini Wall Bracket)
• miscellaneous screws and nuts (see below)

The following additional items/parts are required. I've included links to sources that I've used in the photos, however you can use any compatible part.

The Raspberry Pi Camera Mounting Bracket (this item) attaches to the Raspberry Pi Camera using four (4) 10mm M2-0.4 steel machine screws and four (4) M2-0.4 steel hex nuts. The M2-0.4 holes on the bracket are designed to be slightly tight so they self-thread with the screws for extra retention.

The Raspberry Pi Camera Mounting Bracket attaches to the Rotating Bracket Adapter (a separate shapeways model/item) using one (1) 1" 6-32 aluminum standoff along with two (2) 3/8" #6-32 steel machine screws.

The Rotating Bracket Adapter has a 1/4" diameter hole allowing it to attach to a device using a standard tripod 1/4"-20 machine screw. The pictures show several types of wall brackets which I've designed that can be used as a wall mount (such as my Wall Bracket and Mini Wall Bracket). I recommend using a 1/2" 1/4"-20 nylon machine screw and a 1/4"-20 nylon machine nut to attach it (you can also use steel, however nylon is better as it is lighter and matches the the white color).
