Product Description
This N scale model is of a Canadian National Railways Standard Privy No. 1. Drawn from CNR plans, this portable outhouse was built on skids, and had an access hatch in the rear to clean out the collection bin.
This simple kit requires some assembly: Carefully cut roof and door off of sprues. Clean all parts. Apply window glazing of choice to inside of both windows, and fine screen mesh to outside of windows (optional). Door can be glued opened or closed, and should be opened inwards. Glue roof on, lining up exhaust stack. Fold a small piece of thin cardstock to make a cover for stack (cover fold should be parallel to roof), and glue in place. Paint building brown with buff trim, roof should be black shingles and screen mesh should be CNR Green #34.
