Elco Throttle Deck Covering A18222, #5 section. This is only part 7 of 8 parts of the long cover that runs from forward of the stbd gun turret all the way to the aft of the superstructure. I believe this part ran under the superstructure as it had a smooth top surface, rather than a ripple finish and would therefore have been slippery to stand on, as such it may not be required on a model! I detailed it only because it is in the Elco spare parts catalog!
