Product Description
The Monon Railroad, also known as the Chicago, Indianapolis & Louisville, operated a fleet of nine EMD BL2 locomotives. Numbered 30-38 these iconic were built in 1948 and 1949. Soon after deliverly, the railroad modified the locomotives to have a larger battery box. These parts were designed to fit the Proto 2000 HO BL2 to more accurately model one of these Hoosier Line locomotives. Both battery boxes are connected on the same sprue, so there is only one part needed to both sides of your locomotive.
