Product Description
I made this pendant for Marjorie, my mother in law, it was her birthday present. She is a Christian, and regularly attends church.
On one of my many visits to the British Museum, I saw that first century Christians used this symbol on everday objects like plates, wall paintings and mosaics. So I decided it make a pendant of the symbol for her.
The pendant is 23mm from the top of the P to the bottom and approximately 2mm thick.
Chi Rho Symbol is an ancient Christian symbol, a Christogram that is made by overlaying the initial two letters (in capital) of the Greek word ‘Christos’ meaning ‘Christ’. Pronounced as ‘KEE-roe’
