Product Description
This is an N Gauge model of the iconic GNR Stirling Single, now preserved in the National Railway Museum. There are three alternate tenders (each separately available) to complete the model, comprising:
Ivatt tender V1 (unpowered – for use with the motorised generic 4-wheel coach)
Ivatt tender V2 (motorised – for a powered locomotive)
Sturrock tender (also unpowered, to represent the engine in early preservation)
Consequently the engine can be produced to represent two different periods in its career and give the option of scale size (with motor coach) or full motorisation. Together these parts produce a fully operational model, which with the generic 4 and 6-wheel coaches available can make a complete vintage train.
