Product Description
N Scale (1/160) Model of Canadian National Railway's one-off Gas-Electric Car D-1 that ran in the 1950's, primarily on a run from Meaford to Hamilton via Allandale and Georgetown. The prototype car ran with two cars, a Mail-Coach car C-1 and coach C-2. I am working on models of all these cars. This is the "Early" version of the car before a third front cab window was added and the headlight changed from a single beam to a double beam above the third window.
Designed to use a Bachmann Doodlebug chassis for underframe and trucks. Successfully Test Printed. See photos with this item.
