Product Description

B-58 Parasite Recon Aircraft in 1959! A proposed U-2 replacement aircraft that was part of a development effort/ competition that eventually would lead to the SR-71. A variant of the Convair Super Hustler concept, this aircraft would be carried aloft underneath a B-58 Hustler. It would be released approaching the target and it would sprint off at Mach 4 to complete its mission powered by its ramjet engines. Another amazing concept that never made it past the drawing board.
