Mercury-Atlas booster tank section 1

1/35 scale. This is the first tank section that ties into the skirt. The primary principle for assembly is based around a BT50 MMT/Stuffer tube, preferable fiberglass, and all the subsequent sections sleeve over it not unlike Mars Lander kit and others. Each tank section has a single bullkhead when connect to another adjacent section, two rings complete a bracing of the skin , hence lateral and skin rigidity is achieved with each successive stacking of section(s).
