Garmin K-Edge Vertical Extension Insert - 40mm

Overview
Here we have a custom design requests by a fellow Shapeways member, wanting to lift the position of their Garmin Edge computer whilst fitted to a K-Edge out front mount.

This MagCAD insert has a diameter of 33.8mm. Four screw holes at 20mm hole centre distances are included although depending on the type of riding, only two should be required. Dimensions have been provided should you be unsure on the compatibility with your mount. If in doubt, please get in contact.

Requires 2x M3x10mm countersunk screws, not included.

Application
Fitting the MagCAD insert is a simple process. Simply remove the insert from your K-Edge mount with a 2mm Allen key and install the MagCAD insert with 2x M3x10mm countersunk screws, not supplied.

Although four holes are present in the MagCAD insert, only two are needed to correctly secure it. Choose either the front/rear holes or the left/right holes depending on any additional mounts you have attached underneath your K-Edge mount.

The below hardware is required and very simple to source locally:

• 2x M3x10mm  countersunk screws.
