Modular Plug System!
How It Works:
1. Choose a base!
- If you plan on utililizing a shtok illuminated connector or you wish to see any of the lights with the plug in you MUST have your base printed in either 'Fine Detail Plastic' option. This is a clear material which will allow for any light to shine through. All other options will not allow ANY light through.
2. Choose a plug top!
- ALL Plug tops are interchangable between any size base (within the 1" MPS). So you can order as many as you want and swap between plugs whenever you wish!
3. OPTIONAL - Purchase a Shtok Illuminated Blade Side PCB - Link below
- This option is necessary if you want to utilize a shtok illuminated blade side PCB and have shine through! These simply pop in place, NO WIRING NECESSARY!
NOTE: Any [u]RAW/NATURAL Metal[/u] or any [u]STEEL[/u] material will require finishing work if you want a nice shine to it. This can be accomplished with any of the following: Sandpaper, hand files, dremel, belt sander. This is not a requirement; however, it will give you a much nicer finish. Even if the steel material says polished, it will probably need a little work. The end results are well worth it!
Plugs then are held in place with a 'twist-and-lock' system; however, there is also a hole for an optional 4-40 set screw to be used as a backup due to the +/- a few mm that these printers can print. I highly recommend having a few 4-40 set screws on hand just incase, they can be found here:
