Product Description
High Detailed 1/64 Scale BOFORS 40mm. GUN AMMUNITION BOXES as used with US Navy PT Boat in World War Two.
These Metal Boxes were used usually stocked in four units in deck beside the gun or doing a "ready rack" with two rows of four boxes each, mounted on a simple frame and elevated and angled to allow fast loading.
16 BOXES included, with 16 SEPARATE LIDS.
Model hollowed with 0.8 mm. minimum thickness.
After May-2017 repricing for Frosted Materials, these parts had to be sprued to reduce final price. This was done in thin material, easy to cut.
