Product Description
The Diamond DA40 Diamond Star is an Austrian four-seat, single-engine, light aircraft constructed from composite materials. Built in both Austria and Canada, it was developed as a four-seat version of the earlier DA20 by Diamond Aircraft Industries. The DA40 is a four-seat low-wing cantilever monoplane made from composite materials. It has a fixed tricycle landing gear and a T-tail.
This model was created on request. Physically one of my largest-sized models to date, this aircraft is near the maximum allowable size in a plastic material that can be printed via Shapeways. As much detail as I could put on the model is included, to include for the first time the outlines of the door and windows, making painting easier and more accurate. Enjoy!
