Product Description

You will never forget her name nor her image. You will never find another like her. Cinnamon is the greatest, the nicest, the kindest, the prettiest and the funniest of all girls: very sexy and unique, adorable and fun loving. If you ever meet a Cinnamon marry her right then and there, you can't go wrong. But if you should happen to be such a lush and glorious girl, so rad and brill, show the world you are a cinnamon girl with this eye-catching piece of jewelry!

Cinnamal (Cinnamaldehyde, trans-cinnamic aldehyde, cassia aldehyde) is the smelling principle of cinnamon, and was isolated from Ceylon cinnamon bark oil by Jean-Baptiste Dumas (1800–1884) and Eugène-Melchior Péligot (1811–1890) as early as 1834 ('Scent and Chemistry – The Molecular World of Odors', Verlag Helvetica Chimica Acta/Wiley-VCH, 2012, p. 5–6). Cinnamal was first synthesized in 1856 by Luigi Chiozza (1828–1889), who condensed benzaldehyde with acetaldehyde in the presence of HCl – notably before Friedrich August Kekulé (1829–1896) had even proposed his groundbraking benzene structure (1865). Cinnamal is found in a number of other essential oils and also constitutes the main component of cassia oil (ca. 90%). Due to its typical warm, spicy-sweet aromatic odor cinnamal is essential in the chypre and oriental families of perfumes. Classical examples include Jacques Guerlain's 'Mitsouko' (Guerlain, 1919) on the feminine and Jacques Polge's 'Egoïste' (Chanel, 1990) on the masculine side, and a positive oderdose of cinnamon is also featured in 'Deeply' (MariaLux, 2012) by Alessandro Gualtieri.

The dimensions of this cinnamal pendant are ca. 3.9 cm × 2.0 cm × 0.7 cm, and the hole for the necklace (not included) has a diameter of ca. 3.5 mm. It fits excellently to a great variety of different necklaces, for instance a self-made one from a colored leather strap, cf. www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00F6SGWIK?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00, glued to a lever pressure lock, cf. www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00MS50QQS?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00.
