Product Description
4 US gal "flimsies" type fuel canister was designed before WWI for military aviation use. They were made of several panels of thin (easily-punctured) flat mild-steel plates, which were welded together part by part (costly and time-consuming). They would often leak around these long welded lines and these fuel leaks would often cause vehicle fires.
This kit contains all necessary parts for assembling a set of TWO fuel canisters & ONE funnel at 1/15 scale. They can make a fine automobile, aviation or military dioramas display alongside with same 120mm scale figures, military gear or vehicles. The filler caps can be placed in closed or opened possition. Any extra diorama accessories are not included and should be purchased separately.
