The .55/303 Boys is an experimental short-range cartridge from the United Kingdom. Formed by necked-down the .55 Boys, a cartridge used by Boys anti-tank rifle in WWII. As .55 Boys was deemed too powerful and costly for training purposes, also the production and available stocks were urgently required in some battlefields.
To dealing with the situation and comply the safety regulations of the standard training ranges. The training version of the rifle, along with the cartridge was developed in 1937, then produced and tested in mid December 1938.
The model's outer dimension was reference after the original drawing and parent case. The inner dimensions were referred to parent case (.55 Boys) drawing, including primer pocket, with slightly adjustment to adapt 3D printing limitations. This is cutaway version. normal version can found at:
