Fits both the Z1 and Z1 51GB cameras
IMPORTANT NOTICE: To avoid cross threading the plastic fasteners supplied with the cage, run a 1/4-20 bolt into each threaded hole first.
WHY A CAGE?
NEW IMPROVED DESIGN
The Ricoh Theta Z1 is unquestionably the best dual lens 360 camera on the market today. With a resolution of almost 8K and two one-inch sensors, it delivers clean 12 bit raw files. The newest release of the camera, features 51 megabytes of memory.
I do a lot with my Z1 in difficult shooting situations, I originally conceived the cage as a way to mount the Halo 360 light above the camera, but I also wanted attachments for things like: umbrellas, LED light panels, microphones, stereo photography, etc.
I hope you like this product and have as much fun using it as I had designing it. And if you need any special holders, clips or other accessories, let me know and I'll design them for you.
Optional Accessories:
Clear Button - lets power button light show through
Glue Strip - attach your camera to a window or mirror **New
Protective Cap - covers and protects the lens
Metal Attachment screws - replace plastic screws for an extra level of durability

Important Assembly Information
While this nylon material is very durable it's important to not cross-thread fasteners when assembling the unit. I highly recomment turning a metal 1/4-20 bolt into all threaded holes first. See Video

WHY A CAGE?
- Multiple attachment points for lights, microphones, accessories
- Improved feel push buttons are easier in the dark
- Add a 360 light above the camera for more natural lighting
- Mount camera in a diffent orientation
- Use with a ground spike to get very close to your subject
- Stick it to a window or mirror with optional glue strip.
