Product Description
This is my Interpretation of a Statue of Odin, Modelled on behalf of another Maker of Historical replicas who intends to cast the Item in Silver.
The Original was made of Copper alloy (Somewhere between Bronze and Brass most likely) found in Lindby in Skåne, Sweden. I am unsure of the scale of the original - I can only find the scale of replicas. The most easily found replicas are normally around 100mm tall. Regardless, this one is 25mm tall at the request of the individual who asked me to model this.
With the addition of a Ringlet of some description, this would be the Ideal size for a Pendant.
The statue appears to have one eye squinted shut - hence it's identification as the One eyed god, Odin. The original is also missing an arm, apparently from an old Break. It is not certain where this arm terminated (There is no extant nub on the belt where it could have been connected) However, for ease, I have simply made it so the missing arm copies the extant one.
