Note: The Wahoo Elemnt Bolt (V2) is new for May 2021, featuring a colour screen and slightly larger size. This mount will not be suitable for the original Wahoo Elemnt Bolt (V1) sold between March 2017 - April 2021.
Overview
Mount your Wahoo Elemnt Bolt (V2) in front of your handlebars with the Specialized integrated stem mount system. The new Specialized stem faceplate comes with a slot in the centre and a retained nut that provides a secure point to attach the mount.
The MagCAD Wahoo Elemnt Bolt (V2) Specialized Mount is designed specifically for the shape of the Bolt (V2). It is extremely strong and stiff, keeping your device securely positioned in front of your stem.
A lug has been added underneath for maximum flexibility, allowing you to mount additional devices such as cameras and lights underneath your computer without cluttering the rest of your handlebars.
Application
Fitting the MagCAD mount is a simple process. Simply bolt through your Specialized stem faceplate into the retained nut and rotate the mount to your preferred orientation.
The M4 retained nut usually comes with your Specialized stem or OEM Specialized Garmin mount. If you're struggling to source one please get in contact and we can advise further.
The below hardware is required and very simple to source locally:
1x M4x16mm Cap Screw
1x M4 Tee Nut
The MagCAD Specialized mounts also attaches to the new Roval Alpinist SL Cockpit handlebars which have a thread integrated into them. For the Roval handlebars you will need a longer M4x20mm cap screw to ensure full thread engagement and you dont need the M4 tee nut.
Please Note: When mounting multiple devices off one mount we recommend using a tether just for extra security.
