Product Description
This Mahonial pendant has been designed upon a special request from a perfumer, who fell in love with its linear, floral-green lily-of-the-valley note, which rivals Lyral/Cyclohexal in strenght and performance, and hydroxycitronellal in naturalness and hedonics. The name derives form the lily-of-the-valley bush, Mahonia japonica (Thunb.) DC., that with its intensely scented small yellow flowers typically recalls Convallaria majalis L. Mahonial is a captive perfumery material, not openly available to scent the pendant; however, 'Missoni' (Missoni, 2015) by Quentin Bisch and 'La Femme Prada' (Prada, 2016) by Daniela Andrier that markedly feature Mahonial can be used in its place.
The dimensions of the Mahonial pendant are ca. 3.1 cm × 2.4 cm × 1.3 cm, and the eyelet hole has a diameter of ca. 3.0 mm. This makes it compatible with a wide variety of necklaces, for instance a basic Thomas Sabo Glam & Soul KE1107-001-12 necklace in Sterling silver.
