Product Description
A small piece of the Moon. Tycho crater!
Located at 43.37°S, 348.68°E in the southern lunar highlands, Tycho is named after the Danish astronomer Tycho Brahe. A popular amateur astronomy target and relatively young as an astrogeological feature, it features a well defined terraced outer rim, and a central peak that rises nearly 2km from the smooth crater floor.
Using data from NASA's LRO probe this small tile reproduces a desktop version of this 82km feature, featuring both 3d relief geometry & colour detail!
