Product Description
This product is to allow you to put a superior Kato motor into the current Athearn RTR SD38. Not the warmed over RPP Athearn product. This is for the newly tooled models.
The only thing you need to do is drill and tap the pins.
No Frame modifications needed.
After cleaning up the part, glue the Kato motor to this motor mount with silcon sealer. Make sure the motor sides are verticle. Let dry for 24 hours and the assemble will then be ready to install.
