Product Description
This N-gauge / 2mm:1ft model of the 55t armour plate truck as built for the LNER in the lead up to WW2 is extremely similar to the LMS version I have uploaded before, but there are minor detail differences on the solebars. The BR diagram 2/002 version (also available) is very similar too, but apart from solebar detail differences, it has tie bars between the axleguards on the bogies. Please read the notes on those wagons, especially about how to clean the bogies so that the couplings work. I have uploaded this version on request and haven't tried it mself, though the BR and LMS ones are so similar that there shouldn't be a problem unless I missed a bit in the upload (do have a good look in the 3D view before you buy, especially if it still says "first to try", and let me know if you have any questions).
P.S. The GC railway (before the 1923 grouping) also had 55t armour plate wagons, presumably from WW1, but that design was much shorter than this one, more like the 40t ARM in overall dimensions, and had completely different bogies.
