Product Description

This product is based off of the recurring piece of fictional rolling stock in the Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends television series. The model in the show utilized the chassis of a CCT van, with 3-plank walls and 4 spokes on either side of the wagon to hold loads in the wagon bed. I offer both 2-Axle and Bogied versions of these unusual pieces of Rolling Stock. The differences between v1 and v2 is that v2 iterations do not feature the spokes on the sides of the wagon. The .5 iterations of each model feature the planked flooring. The Bachmann iterations utilize the international Hook & Loop Coupling system, with hooks included, while the Chain versions utilize the more realistic 3 chain and hook coupling system. Whether you buy the 2-axle or Bogied versions, you will need to procure a few sets of either Hornby 14.1mm or HO scale 38" wheels to get these wagons rolling. If you order the bogied versions, you will need to purchase size #4 screws with the associated Hex nut. The hex nut will fit in the hex shaped hole on the underside of the chassis and will require glue to stay in place. The screw will then go through the hole in the bogie and screw into the hex nut attached to the chassis. V3 and V4 are based off of later renditions of the bogied CCT flatbeds where the bogies were closer to the center of the wagon.
