1/12/24 update: We DO NOT recommend this modification as an optimal hop improvement for the VFC M249- please see our follow-up video. We'll leave this listing up as an alternative that does not require opening up the hop unit, but we strongly recommend instead modifying a Maple Leaf Wonder (70D) as shown in that video.
This is a simple housing designed to accept a compression spring (not included) and be affixed to the nozzle of the VFC M249. This solves the accuracy problem inherent to open-bolt airsoft designs without a delaying mechanism to give the BB time to settle.
To install:
Appropriate springs for use:

- Epoxy or superglue the spring over the 'nub' of this housing.
- Epoxy the housing to the nozzle's guide track, so that the front of it fits flush with the nozzle.
