Tuned Deora II

A classic, fan favorite hot wheels car turned street racer. Fans of the Deora II might recognise this vehicle from such movies as Hot Wheels: World Race/Highway 35 and Hot Wheels: Acceleracers; Ignition.

This car is perfect for any JDM Fan or Hot Wheels fan in general.

Use a strong material when printing this car if you plan on giving it to children.

How I created the Deora II: Tuned Edition 

I used many softwares to design this creation.

In Blender, I used a base model of the Deora II as a low-poly race car that I bumped up the poly count of as a base.

Then I removed the surfboards and added subwoofers.

Finally I spliced another model's spoiler (Wingo's spoiler from Pixar's Cars) and added it onto the main base car.

Then I imported the model into Meshmixer and fixed the thin walls by using the "Make Solid" tool.

The final application I used was Microsoft's 3D Builder. I imported the car model, bumped the polygon count down considerably as to print it easily. The final model is the STL file you see in this project, on Shapeways.
