Total amount of plates for 1 complete coil set is: 2x outer coil plate A, 2x inner coil plate B, 1x GANS ball C.
Features / Notes:
- -144 / 81 or 89 cycle coil horizontal or vertical (90 deg rotational differences)
- -Coil inner areas are 16mm wide for possible increase in diameter of Rods
- -Extra 30mm of space at the end for connections and room to play
- -GANS ball area is 4.15cm in diameter (~ size of golf ball)
- -Pieces are like lego blocks and will work together as one unit.
- -Total amount of plates for 1 complete coil set is: 2 outer coil plate, 2 inner coil plate, 1 GANS ball.
- -The material being used is nylon powder that is strong and flexible.
- -The wall thickness (one face or polygon) is .9mm thick. The material being used can be printed @ .7mm, but is recommended to use a thicker setting for more strength.
- -Each plate has 16 sides for more solid geometry and the shape is called a hexadecagon.
- -Each part has 4x 3mm holes cut into the surface face for easier nanocoating of the plastic inner and outer walls.
- -The wall distance that separates coil to coil to GANS ball is 2mm thick (smallest I could make it for reasons of strength) -
- -Another image details the inner and outer walls with thermal coloring- this shows the model is hollow inside, but we have to look at the outline of the orange highlights.
- -Each outer ring part has 4x 5mm holes for mounting. The inner plates or the GANS ball area are held within the outer ring mainframe.
- -GANS ball and Notch clearance is setup to have a .5mm clearance for possible expansion or shrinking of the materials being printed.
Keep in mind, this is all a CG rendered image, but with real life textures for the background - the model itself is at millimeter scale.
