O Gauge Bulleid Leader Scratch Aid – Bogie Sides

A commission piece, this scratch aid provides the shape and main details of Bulleid’s experimental ‘Leader’ class steam locomotive.  Originating as a jumbo-ised N Gauge engine, it has been completely rebuilt to be accurate in dimension and detail for 7mm O Gauge – a large model at almost 47cm over buffers.  Importantly, it is only intended as a scratch aid: additional details (eg pipework, buffer beams, brake cylinders) need to be added.  The unusual access ladders, however, are ready-provided.  Also available for this locomotive are the body shell (a chassis will have to be created by the builder), end cab interiors and ashpan.
