4mm Scale Fishing Boat

This is a model based on a northeast of England coble (fishing boat). Older boats would have been sailing craft, the modern versions having engines.

The print is designed as a base for building ether type of craft.

Designed for printing in White Natural Versatile Plastic or coloured plastic, this represents a 22’ hull with a 7 ½ ‘beam at 4 mm scale.

The hull could be scaled down to 75% smaller if printed in Frosted Ultra-detail plastic? 

Because of the fairly universal clean lines of the hull, it could easily represent a larger craft at smaller scales, with a foredeck and cabin added.

The model sizes are 90mm long x 30mm wide x 12mm depth at the midpoint, the keels on the model allow it to sit upright on the shore like the real boats and is perfect for a beach or harbour scene.
