Saab 900 Sedan, 1987-93 (MOVING PARTS)

The sport sedan for iconoclasts, the Saab 900 Turbo married fighter jet logic, tough durability, and Swedish style into one supremely cool package. This deluxe model includes a hood with articulated opening action for a view of the Saab's turbocharged heart! Seen here in its final facelifted form, as equipped for the US market from 1987 to 1993.

This 1:64-scale kit comes with body, base, hood, hinge, interior, dashboard, steering wheel, wheels, and tires. Axles (0.8 mm rods) and screws (#2-56) not included, but recommended. Glue recommended for smaller pieces.

Important assembly notes: A hobby knife or razor blade may be useful in detaching smaller parts from the sprues. The hood hinge is not a closed loop; one side is open for the hood to slide onto. Before attaching the body to the base, carefully press the closed side of the hood hinge into place on the base (behind the grille), then gently guide the hood into place, sliding from the open end.
