Product Description
This nonfunctional 3/4" pipe size quarter turn cock can be used on 1.6" scale live steam locomotives with either 1/8" or 5/32" (recommended) tubing. It is bored through with the diameter small enough to drill for threading with a 1/8" MTP tap. It is offered as a pair. Some artifacts of the 3D printing process can be seen on the finished bronze cock, but will for the most part disappear when properly painted.
This cock is a Westinghouse version, modeled direcly from a prototype. These cocks were used extensively in the braking systems and in other places on steam locomotives of the era. This cross-handle version is normally open in this position, but configurations and usages varied.
