KMD-FR01 Main Chassis (VE) TPLATE VERSION

This is the main chassis of the MC3 KMD-FR01 T- Plate version of the Open Wheel Racer. THIS IS NOT THE TRI-DAMPER VERSION.

Just drop-in a MR-03 brushless board (VE/PRO, Kyosho part#MZ503 or MZ505) from Kyosho along with Kyosho's F1 servo saver, servo gears, servo gear plates, servo shafts and Battery terminals from a MR-02 or MR-03 chassis to complete the main chassis. Other parts are needed in order to complete the entire car. Parts available from our website along with our Shapeways shop.

Note, you will need to tap some holes of the chassis with a 2mm tap. Check out our tutorial videos.

This chassis is compatible with AAA batteries (best to use rechargeable NiMH like MC3's batteries or Peak Racing from Kyosho). Both available from our website. 

We are testing parts right now (available through our Shapeways shop here) to make the chassis compatible with Kyosho's (R246) Li-Fe Cells.

It is only compatible with the KMD-FR01 Open Wheel Racer
