00 Scale LNWR Crampton Motion V3

This set of alternate parts cast in metal complements the 00 Scale model of the LNWR Crampton locomotive ‘Liverpool’ – in her day claimed to be the most powerful engine in the world.  

Combined with the 00 Crampton Locomotive and Tender (each separately available) these provide the primary parts for a fully working model (motorised tender chassis to be developed by the builder).  Unlike the plastic or other brass variant this includes the wheels, but as they can only be printed in ‘raw’ brass this is to be considered an advanced-level scratch aid requiring drilling, turning and finishing.  Likewise the other components will require – drilling of holes and filing, particularly of the eccentrics to ensure clearance around the wheel (rim in particular).  

IMPORTANT: while most models available here have been pre-tested and known to work, this scratch-aid has not been printed/tested by myself, so while the measurements appear correct it is considered strictly experimental.
