 N GaugeTrains ЭР2Т continue to operate in Russia (JSC RZHD), Ukraine (PJSC "BONDS"), in Georgia (JSC "Georgian Railways") and Latvian (VAS "Latvian railway"). Some trailer cars ЭР2Т in Latvia, when carrying out PKK/KVR was converted into a tow head; this used a cabin similar in design the cockpit of the new diesel trains ДР1Б (Belarus).
