The two wheeled dump cart was a very common vehicle on Prince Edward Island from the first days of the railway in 1871 until the 1960s. Even today, they are fairly common as lawn ornaments. These simple, versatile carts were used virtually everywhere in North America and elsewhere, so you don't need to model the PEIR to use them.
They were used for farm work, delivering coal, building roads and railways- these were the dump trucks of their day.
Two carts are packaged on a sprue. Tailgates are included but optional. Four 14- spoke wheels and two 12- spoke wheels (less common but often seen) are included. Use the extra wheels for scenery!
The kit is available in FXD for superior detail resolution and surface quality, and FUD for reduced cost at a high quality.
Use a length of brass or steel wire for the axle.
