The model is called a Hilbert Curve. In programming it is used to march over values in a grid in a fashion that sticks around similar regions and values. It is extremely powerful when the grid gets to be extremely large.
Currently this model is only printable in flexible plastics and some metals (not for sale yet). I am tweaking the underlying model to have a thick and thin version for the differing material requirements. Sandstone will require 3x thicker lines.
