Product Description

Inspired by the Lionel Thomas & Friends O gauge line, and by the popularity of Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends in the United States, I present an Anglicized American Gondola with British buffers. This model is HO scale, but perfectly compatible with OO scale freight wagons and locomotives. The Bachmann version includes the international Hook and Loop coupling system, with the Hooks included, while the chain version does not include these, being intended for the more realistic 3 chain and hook coupling system. I will one day make an adapter version of this wagon which will have the international Hook and Loop coupling on one end and a coupling box for Knuckle couplers on the other. This product will need 4 wheelsets of HO scale 33' wheels and a size #4 screw with the associated Hex nut in order to get rolling. The hex nut will fit in the hex shaped hole on the underside of the chassis and will require glue to stay in place. The screw will then go through the hole in the bogie and screw into the hex nut attached to the chassis. Links to the shells and information about Hex screws and nuts will be included below:
