Bænkevogn 9,27m N scale. OMB

This is an unasembled unpainted kit for making a Bench car of the 9.27 meter type.
These were delivered from Scandia in Randers to the private railway OMB and intended to be used as passenger cars in seasons with peak demand for passenger transport and as freight cars in seasons with less passengers. in the end of their service life such combined cars were only used for freight as baggage cars
All OMB's Bench cars were used as bagage cars at the later part of their service life.

OKMJ and HJJ used bench cars of the shorter 8.4 meter type. OMB is the only railroad I konw that used the long version with the brake room at the end. OMB both employed the 8.4 meter and 9.27 meter type.

The model is in 1:160 "N" scale
For getting the correct chassis it is recomended to shorten a Peco No: 121B chassis by cutting an apropriate section of the middle out and gluing it back together.
You can get water transfere decals from Skilteskoven.dk they are not advertized so you will have to write him a mail asking for them.
