HO Scale CB&Q Deckless Cab

Five-piece flat kit for a Chicago Burlington & Quincy "deckless" cab, designed with the rear wall of the cab roughly even with the firebox backhead. Includes four walls and roof. Assembly takes roughly 5 minutes. Only necessary tools are a knife or wire cutters to trim the parts off the sprue. No sanding or fitting required. Wash parts first with soap and water.

This is designed to fit a Mantua 4-4-2 and the cab is patterned after ones used on CB&Q class P-1 Atlantics, which were rebuilt c1913-1915 from class P-1-C locomotives. Original drawings were used with slight allowances made for the Mantua model. Cab is scale 7'6" long, 9'9" wide, and 7'4" tall, and the front wall of the cab is designed to fit over a 6'11.5"-wide firebox. No glazing included.
