Product Description
Increases steering angle on the ECX Barrage Gen 2. This piece adapts the Axial AR44 (SCX10-2) knuckle to the ECX Barrage axle housing allowing you to use AR44 universals to increase steering. Some modifications are required to use the AR44 universal in the ECX axle case. There are two areas of the AR44 axle shaft which are 5mm OD. Those two areas will need to be reduced to match the rest of the shaft's 4mm diameter. This is required in order for the axle shaft to fit inside the axle case's bearings. This is for the LEFT SIDE ONLY. You will need to also purchase the right side available in my shop.
In order to complete this setup, you will need the following:
Also, not required, but highly recommended is to swap out the stock front locker with Redcat Racing #680010. This is a direct replacement all-metal locker.
In order to complete this setup, you will need the following:
- AR44 Steering knuckles (AX31381) or STRC brass SCX10-2 knuckles (STA31381BR)
- Axial Button Head Shoulder Screws (AX31403)
- 5x11x4 Bearings (2)
- 10x15x4 Bearings (2)
- Axial AR44 Universals (AX31402)
- 4x8x3 Bearings (2) (Replacement internal bearings for ECX axle)
