Thermal Detonator Prop Kit

Happy May 4th! This is my thermal detonator design, great for display and costuming. It is designed to interlock at the hemisphere and has holes for 3 x 3mm LED lamps in the front, on the girdle of the detonator and one opening near the top for a lamp housing or 5mm LED. The switch assembly snaps down into the top of the detonator cap and is made to activate a rocker-switch, if you decide to include electronics in your prop building. The switch assembly also requires the additional print "Detonator Switch Grip", and I offer it separately in my shop so that it can be printed in black as designed, no matter what material you choose for the kit. This design looks best when polished but I find hand polishing with the addition of lacquer spray coating provides the best finish. Some have used a product called "Metallic Rub N' Buff" to achieve excellent metallic effects on the surface. *Note: I'm currently offering the steel prints, but be aware that the switch clips have not been tested for that material as they are required to flex a bit to insert, but this can be deal with by torch-heating the clips, allowing them to bend inward, then spreading them outward once again once the switch is in place.
