Product Description
This shell will replace the upper tank casting of a Tyco tankcar. It will create a unique shrouded tankcar build by AC&F in 1940 for different chemical industries to carry 90% nitric acid. The curved shroud covered the tank below and trapped gases that might escape. The gases were evacuated through the vent holes in the dome.
The shell also has predrilled holes that you might enlarge for the different handgrabs and railings.
I also offer a shell that fits on an Athearn or AHM tankcar frame.
