Product Description
Complete your TT/Tri-road hybrid build based on the BMC ICS Aero Cockpit & + Clip-On Extensions system! This cover allows you to add a pair of wired extension shifters to your setup and hide the shift wires from view and from the wind.
The cover has been created by former BMC designer and 3D modeler of the ICS Aero Cockpit system: Jochem Hinloopen. It has a wire entrance port in the front, just behind the stem clamp. The shift wires are routed via the integrated channels into the handlebar and towards the main shifters. Works for Shimano Di2 and SRAM AXS and is a direct replacement of your current cable cover. The clever design retains full access to your stem clamp bolts. Reuse your existing mounting screws.
The bike pictured is a BMC Timemachine Road in size 51. It features Profile Design T2+ Aluminium extensions, which have a wire exit port underneath, in front of the stem. This allows for a neat and short route of the shift wires into the cable cover. It's running SRAM AXS Clics with 650mm wires, plugged directly into the Force AXS shifters. The wire length allows for a lot of positional adjustment.
